August Primary: What’s on my Ballot?

The ballot is available. This is a state-wide, partisan primary. You can only vote within one party. As a poll worker with past fall primary experience, this can be a confusing ballot for voters.

The ballot will be long since there are 5 parties registered in the state: Democratic, Republican, Constitution, Libertarian and Wisconsin Green. For this display I am only including the Democratic and Republican Parties since the other 3 parties, except for one position, do not have candidates for the state or county offices.

Please note I used my address to generate the ballot, which shows my address and polling place of Town of Franklin - Ward 1. But this is the State and Assembly/Senate District 1 ballot everyone in Kewaunee County will have.

Update 6/28/2026: There have been questions about why Mark Becker, candidate for 1st Senate District (currently Andre Jacque position), is not listed on the ballot. I contacted Mark’s campaign and the response was that since Mr. Becker is running as an independent and is unopposed as an independent, he is not on the primary ballot but will be on the November ballot.

CRITICAL: If you are going to be gone on vacation or otherwise not available to vote in person on election day, please be sure to request your absentee ballot or plan to vote in person absentee. Again, go to MyVote.wi.gov and see what you need to do and by when!

Two candidates have dropped out of the governor’s race. They will still appear on the August 11th ballot. Don’t “waste your vote” on someone who is no longer running. The 2 are David Crowley and Missy Hughes. Both have endorsed Sara Rodriguez, current Lt. Governor.
