OCTOBER 2026 NEWSLETTER

Barely 30 Days to go – It’s a sprint

It seems like Labor Day was yesterday and now October is upon us.  The plans we laid out last winter are in full throttle engagement and the election is upon us.

For all of you who are out knocking doors or writing postcards, a heartfelt THANK YOU!  For those who have put up signs in your yard or on your land, THANK YOU!  To those who are taking office shifts or who WILL be phone banking later this month THANK YOU! For those of you who sent in donations or became State Party Members (which also helps us financially) THANK YOU!

This next 30 days will be crazy, and we trust that all your hard work will pay off in victories and the much anticipated “Blue Trifecta”!

Kewaunee County cannot bear the brunt of the disastrous policies of Trump, Tony Wied and Tom Tiffany.  We cannot ignore the silence of Joel Kitchens and Nic Cravillion.  Our families, our farmers and our schools deserve change and real leaders!

The goal for these next 30 days is to TURN OUT THE VOTE!

The candidates are working their tails off.

Like never before the challengers, not THE incumbent, for the office are holding public Town Hall meetings.  Our candidates up and down the ballot are willing to face a very disgruntled public to let them voice their frustration with the Republican failed policies.

We should do the same!

YOUR job isn’t just to attend these events but to encourage those in your circle, especially the skeptics, to join you.  Help them see that THEY HAVE A CHOICE and that voting for our candidates on November 3rd is the correct vote for THEIR future.

Volunteer Opportunities Part 1

One of the most productive “Get Out The Vote” tactics is “Door Knocking”; going door to door in the month before the election to deliver candidate literature.  The list of addresses provided in this last push is typically voters who most likely vote for Democrats and it’s our job to encourage them to actually vote on Nov 3.  You don’t need experience for this; we train before every shift and will pair you up with a seasoned vet if you would feel more comfortable. The remaining dates are:  Sunday Oct 18 from noon – 3p out of Kewaunee and Saturday Oct 24 and 31 from noon – 3p out of Algoma.

Final Volunteer Opportunity

The week of Oct 24 we are looking for help to make phone calls to remind likely Dem voters to make certain they have a plan to vote on Nov 3.  There is an automated call list and again, you are calling voters likely to vote for Dems, they just need a little encouragement to get out the door! Training will be on Wed Oct 21 from 7-8p at the Algoma office, 305 Steele St Suite 102.  Register here.

And, as always, we appreciate those of you on social media for sharing our posts with your network of friends and family.  More than before, we have the opportunity to make inroads with those who voted for Republicans in the past. Let’s leverage that!
