Governor Readiness Program Update
Governor Evers has dedicated his time outside of governing to ensuring that the eventual Democratic nominee for Governor is ready to go the day after the primary.
Former DPW Executive Director Cassi Fenili is leading this program.
Three pillars of the program:
Fundraising: Ensuring the nominee is ready to go with paid media to ensure republicans can’t define our nominee. Gov. Evers is already raising funds to be ready to give to our nominee.
Crafting a response to the eventual GOP nominee (seems likely it will be Rep. Tom Tiffany): Working with partner organizations on polling and message testing and putting resources together to hand to the Dem nominee.
Develop close relationships with all Democratic candidates: Making sure we’re ready to logistically support the nominee from day one, like being ready to order yard signs the day after the primary, as well as providing support in staffing up and other needs as the campaign ramps up post-primary.
